"As an artist I often need to refuel my own inspiration. I've always collected meaningful quotes and used them to stay upbeat. I decided to combine my art with my favorite quotes to give people a quick pick-me-up. I want women to always be reminded of their uniqueness - and to keep on moving forward. Sometimes it's just at a quick glance at some beautiful colors and a great quote that does just that!"
Pam Hawley is a nationally-known artist who creates many different types of art - acrylics, watercolor, jewelry, painted furniture, and fairy settings. No matter what kind of art she is doing, however, her passion for color shines through.
Pam currently lives in Ferndale, Michigan where her work is displayed at the Lawrence Street Gallery. Before moving back to her home state of Michigan, she lived in Portland, Oregon for many years raising her children and honing her art skills.
Pam's art has been displayed in galleries throughout the Pacific NW and Midwest. This is the first time she has ventured into smaller pieces, such as the Courage Quotes, but she says they are just a continuation of her desire to inspire women to live with zest.
